The Sequoia and Sierra National Forests have announced public meetings next week to learn about the upcoming forest plan revision process. If you hike in these forests, care about the future of Sierra forests, and want to learn about the forest-planning process, please consider attending.

Interested people are invited to attend a Sierra Club meeting on the morning of Sat., Feb. 9, in Fresno to talk about how to get involved in our efforts to protect Sierra forests. If you want to attend, contact Sarah Matsumoto at sarah.matsumoto@sierraclub.org for more information.

This is the first in a series of public meetings, public-comment opportunities, and other activities in the forest plan revision process. If you are interested, but can’t attend one of these meetings, contact Sarah Matsumoto at sarah.matsumoto@sierraclub.org.
