“Images of Adventure” with Tony Rowell–San Francisco Dinner–Thursday, November 15

Thursday, November 15, social hour–6 pm, dinner–7:00, program–8:00, City Forest Lodge, 254 Laguna Honda Boulevard, San Francisco. Take Muni K, L, M, or 43. Come early for street parking, or park next door for $1.50 at the Forest Hill Christian Church lot for $1.50 per car, payable at the Lodge check-in.

Join us for an exciting evening featuring the stunning images of renowned photographer Tony Rowell. He will share photographs produced by three generations of the Rowell family, including those of his father, mountaineer and photographer Galen Rowell. He will also share his latest astronomy, landscape, and nature photos of Arches National Park, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and the eastern Sierra, including his spectacular short film “Sierra Starlight”.

Tony’s photography adventures have taken him across the globe, from the Arctic Circle to the mountains of Tibet. He lives near his family’s Mountain Light Gallery in Bishop, where several of his photos are on exhibit. His award-winning photographs have been published in Astronomy, Backpacker, Nature’s Best, and Outdoor Photographer. His books, calendars, and fine-art prints will be available at the dinner.

Checks must be received by Fri., Nov. 9. Please indicate the program date, number of guests, and your phone number. Non-members are welcome. Bring your own wine or soft drinks.
