Wednesday, July 11, 7 pm, Clayton Community Library (Hoyer Hall), 6125 Clayton Road, Clayton.

Join us at the next Diablo Group meeting for an armchair tour of Morocco. Our guides will be Al and Marie Greening rather than Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, but the photography will be much better.

Along the Atlantic portion of Morocco’s 2,200-mile coastline, the Greenings visited Tangier; the capital city, Rabat; and Casablanca, the largest city and main port. Inland they visited the ancient medina of Fez and the village of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains.

Al and Marie have photographed all seven continents and a few places in between. Al, a park volunteer at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area since 1985, currently leads programs at the Point Bonita Lighthouse and photography walks in the Marin Headlands. His photographs are on display at the Clair Tappaan Lodge and the Marin Headlands visitor center.

Everyone is welcome and no reservations are necessary. If you have questions, contact Ken Lavin at ken_lavin@hotmail.com or (925)852-8778.
