Forever thinking about how to get things done- he just handed me another 100 signatures that he gathered at the East Bay dinner and at Save for the Bay in support of McLAUGHLIN EASTSHORE STATE PARK in honor of Sylvia McLaughlin. Congratulations! You may have forgotten me and my wife Ellen Johnck. I was the SF county proponent for Prop 20 back in 1971, when we collected 50,000 register voter signatures from SF and had to precinct them in my living room before turning them in to the SF Registar of Voters. it was a hell of a signature drive. We went to every 49ner football game and Giants baseball game, and collected signatures for every county possible. What are they doing to celebrate the 60 th anniversary for the 1972 election? I have watched the complete vanishing of several creatures on our beach front . Our neighbors leased their tide lands to a shellfish out fit and we no longer see crabs starfish moonsnails our sand dollar bed is dead. We have had a huge decline in all our birds and otter populations. These guys will use pesticides and will come in the dead of night and kill diving ducks otters raccoons and any creature they see as a pest. They will lie about anything to make a buck.
